8th Grade Ministry

 

We provide opportunities for 8th grade students to encounter Jesus Christ and His Church while engaging in activities that challenge them to grow as disciples. We’ve created an environment where trusted adult leaders and peer ministers walk alongside our youth helping them to navigate the challenges of the 8th grade while encouraging them to be all that God created them to be.

Preparing for Confirmation

8th Grade Ministry serves as the Sacramental Preparation for Confirmation. Youth are required to participate in faith formation for a year prior to entering into their Confirmation year – a teen who faithfully attends 7th and 8th Grade Ministry  will be prepared to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Spring of their 8th grade year.
