For 13 weeks, we will honestly address the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to our roles as a current or future husband and father. No need to sign up! We begin at 6:00 am with a light breakfast and will wrap up at 7:20. There is an optional rosary at 5:30. Note: Late start due to a funeral. Join us for First Friday Adoration at St. Mark! Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will begin at 8:45 am and will continue throughout the day, concluding with Benediction at 6:00 pm. This is a beautiful way to encounter our Eucharistic Lord, and we encourage you and your families to join us every first Friday.

Bring your furry, feathered, and other animal friends to our annual Pet Blessing in honor of St. Francis. We will gather outside on the south lawn.

Men: Join us for this engaging video series by Fr. Robert Spitzer entitled, “Happiness, Suffering, and the Love of God.” Beginning with the commonly held principle that different forms of happiness correspond to different fundamental human desires, Fr. Spitzer guides viewers through four distinct but related sources of happiness (pleasure, achievement, contribution, transcendence), showing how they form a hierarchy and explaining why only the highest level (transcendent happiness) will ultimately fulfill us.

St. Mark’s Respect Life ministry leads the parish in many different activities throughout the year, all aimed at promoting the sanctity of all human life, from natural conception to natural death. We welcome all who wish to join us in this prophetic witness to our community.

Auditions are necessary to ensure the individual possesses the basic musical skills needed to perform the repertoire. Choir members should consider singing to be a form of prayer, and understand that beauty is fundamental to the worship of God. Choir members are friendly, humble, and are willing to learn new things and work together as a team.

We help our neighbors-in-need by providing them help and hope, along with financial assistance to help pay rent, utilities, and more. Those in need call our phone line and leave a message describing the type of assistance they need. Are you in temporary need of financial support because of a loss or illness? Need short-term help meeting a rent or utility payment? The Rosary Makers is a group of volunteers who help promote the Catholic faith through making, sharing, and distributing handmade plastic-knotted rosaries. Rosaries are provided for funerals, the Diocese Missions, Catholics within our parish and those abroad. Please feel free to join us for fellowship and to explore the skill of making rosaries. We meet on the third Saturday of the month from 9:00–10:30 am.

If you would like to know about the Mass and why we do what we do during the liturgy, plan to join us for Part 2 of a two-part Teaching Mass. We will do a systematic walk through the parts of the Mass, from the Liturgy of the Eucharist to the end of Mass, so that you can gain a deeper appreciation for the depth and beauty of the Church’s worship.

We’ve created an environment where trusted adult leaders and peer ministers walk alongside our youth and teens, helping them to navigate the challenges of middle and high school while encouraging them to be all that God created them to be.
