Kindergarten through 5th Grade

Classes start Sept. 13!

St. Mark utilizes a family catechesis model, where parents and children will attend together at the parish. We understand that family life is busy with many activities that compete for time and attention. The Family Catechesis model gives you easy and practical tools to integrate our beautiful Catholic faith into the rhythm of daily life and in your domestic church at home. Family catechesis will be “a school for the Lord’s service,” not just learning about the faith, but also how to live it out.

Family Catechesis meets on Sundays from 12:00–1:15 pm, about three times per month, and parents attend ONE parent meeting per month. Children will work alongside their volunteer teachers in the Word of Life curriculum by the Augustine Institute. Each class also includes fun crafts and activities to further their learning of the day’s topic. They will also have a new Saint and Prayer focus for each Unit of their books. Our Catechesis program also includes a monthly 1st Friday Family Adoration at 4pm and a monthly Family Fun Day with topics such as the Rosary, Saints, Advent, and Lent.  Questions?
