Our altar servers help ensure a reverent and efficient celebration of Holy Mass. They assist the priest in his duties at the altar and are key to the ceremonial dignity of the liturgy.
Serving at the altar is a great honor, as it directly supports the central mystery of our Faith. Because of this, proper formation is essential. Our instruction includes the parts of the Mass and their meaning, how to use and care for the sacred vessels, books, and other objects used in the liturgy, the movements and gestures used throughout Mass, and more. Our servers receive initial and ongoing training, with opportunities to move up in rank according to experience and proficiency.
