  • Are you a Catholic who was married outside the Church?
  • Were you divorced and are now remarried, or are considering marriage?
  • Do you wonder what an annulment actually is, and if you need one?

Many Catholics are unsure what the Church actually teaches about marriage. It doesn’t help that the culture often proposes ideas about marriage and family that are at best unhelpful, and at worst, flat-out contrary to Jesus’ teaching. Some are shocked to discover that, after many years, their marriage is not recognized by the Church, leading to anger and confusion.

Please know that we at St. Mark have a heart for couples who find themselves in an “irregular” situation where their marriage is concerned. We want to walk with you to find healing and restoration.

Join us Wednesday, March 4 at 6:30 pm for a question-and-answer session on marriage, declarations of nullity, the convalidation of civil marriages, and more. Fr. Bierbaum, pastor of St. Mark, will be joined by Director of Parish Catechesis Karol Seydel and a representative from the diocesan marriage tribunal to walk you through these issues, presenting the truth in a loving, non-judgmental way so that you can move toward a valid, sacramental marriage in the Church.
