About the Retreat:
Catholic women today fill important and challenging roles–wives and mothers, daughters and grandmothers, teachers, healthcare professionals, business leaders and more. These roles bring fulfillment as well as stress and confusion. Where do we find our comfort and security in a complex and changing world? Join us for this interactive, half-day retreat at St Mark with Father Joe Laramie, SJ to learn how to increase your fulfillment as a Catholic woman, and to reduce stress and confusion, while connecting with other likeminded women. Breakfast will be provided in the Parish Hall following the 8am daily Mass.

Our Retreat Leader:
Fr Joe Laramie, SJ is new Jesuit director of Sacred Heart Jesuit Retreat in Sedalia, Colorado. He began in August 2025. In the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, just south of Denver, Sacred Heart Jesuit Retreat was established in 1959. We offer preached weekend retreats based on the wisdom of St Ignatius and centered in the Heart of Jesus.
Previously Fr Joe lived at Marquette University while serving as national director of the Pope’s Prayer Network [Apostleship of Prayer] –a 175-year-old spiritual mission uniting hearts to the Heart of Jesus in the heart of the Church. He was a National Preacher for the Eucharistic Revival, leading up to the Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis in July 2024.
He has led retreats for priests, seminarians, women, FOCUS and young adults. He entered the Jesuits in 2000 and He taught at Regis Jesuit High School 2005-08. He has served as a college campus minister, and ministered in Mayan villages in Belize. He is featured on the Hallow app, EWTN, Busted Halo, and in America magazine.
