Events

Here’s where you’ll find information regarding all of our upcoming retreats, conferences, and events for the year.

Theme: Spoken

Does God care? Does He hear me when I speak to Him? If He hears me, does He speak back, and how can I know what He is saying? Communication is essential to every relationship, so it is not uncommon for these questions to arise when we talk about having a relationship with God.

During this retreat, we will explore the Word of God and discover the love of God through His self-revelation. God has spoken, and He continues to speak. God spoke each of us into existence and desires a personal relationship with us. We can learn to hear His voice by becoming familiar with the way He has communicated throughout salvation history and ultimately through Jesus Christ. Spoken leads teens through the Scriptures and offers unique encounters with God through prayer and the sacraments so that they live rooted in His Word.

Theme: Into the Dark

“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’” (John 8:12)

Darkness and light — this imagery is continually used as a representation of the Christian life. Throughout this retreat the youth will learn more about the darkness of sin and fear, and how Jesus not only forgives them of their sins but also has the power to cast out fear. They will have opportunities to draw closer to Jesus in the sacraments and will be empowered to go forth and share the light of Christ with others.

Every year 1100+ Middle School students (6-8th grade) gather at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park to encounter God through a “mountain-top” experience.  Each year we bring in a speaker/entertainer to host the weekend – this year we will be joined by Popple.  The high energy speakers, dynamic worship, fellowship and adoration help ignite a passion for Jesus in the young people which encourages them to live their faith in everyday life.
