The bishops of the United States will come together to consecrate the nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 11th. In preparation for this, the bishops are encouraging the faithful to pray a novena to the Sacred Heart starting this Wednesday, June 3rd. You can find a link to the novena in the bulletin and the next Flocknote, or you can visit the USCCB website. In addition, we will participate in the consecration here at St. Mark on Friday, June 12th at the 8:00 am Mass, which is the Feast of the Sacred Heart.

The novena and consecration are providential for us at St. Mark, as we move forward with the construction of our perpetual adoration chapel, which will be dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. We will include our intentions for this beautiful project as we join our hearts with the Church during this consecration of our nation to Our Lord.
