Welcome Home to St Mark and to Mass!
It is our joy to allow our St Mark family back into our pews and back to the Lord’s altar. Below is the link to sign up for Masses. Max capacities are based upon the government’s restrictions.
We are still under a dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass. If you are at high risk (elderly, underlying health conditions, feel sick, or have been in contact with someone who is sick) please stay home for your safety and that of the congregation. Live stream Masses will continue.
Daily Masses is also available as an option. You do not need to sign up for Daily Mass. Please sit in the open pews, keeping the 6 foot prescribed social distancing.
Please read the attached guidelines so you know what to expect when you arrive.
When are sign-ups for weekend Mass available? Sign-ups will be sent out approximately one week prior to the start of the month for two weekends and then again before mid-month.What if I signed up for Mass and can’t make it? We want to strongly encourage you to only sign up when you know you will definitely be there. If you need to cancel, please remove your sign-up by Thursday at noon. What time should I arrive for Mass if I signed up? It is VERY important that you arrive 15-20 minutes before the start of Mass so that we can seat everyone. We will now start seating walk-ins approximately 10 minutes prior to Mass, so your seat may be given up if you haven’t arrived on time. We need to use every available seat. If your seat is given up, we will treat you as a walk-in and give you the next available seat. Thanks for your understanding and for arriving on time.
Can I come to Mass without signing up? Yes. There are approximately 15 walk-in spaces at each Mass. We can’t guarantee a seat, but we will do our best to accommodate. So far, we have been able to seat every walk-in.
My family’s schedule is always changing. What is the best way to attend Mass? The walk-in option would be best for your family unless you are certain your able to attend a particular Mass. Can I attend Mass more than once a month? Yes, as often as you like. Are there sign-ups for Daily Masses? No, you may come and sit in any open pew. Remember, if you can’t make it on the weekend, Daily Masses are always a good option for your family. What is the mask policy at St. Mark? Masks must be worn when entering or moving within the parish building. At the 4PM, 10AM, and Noon Masses, you may remove your mask once seated, if you choose. At the 8AM Mass, a mask must be worn at all times throughout the Mass in order provide extra precaution for our more vulnerable or concerned population.
Is St. Mark in compliance with state and local safety directives? Yes, according to Douglas County’s variance pertaining to houses of worship. It is also approved by our Bishop and the general counsel for our diocese.
