We have witnessed in recent weeks and months many grave offenses against God, in word and deed, here in our state, in our nation, and around the world. Catholics may be wondering what we can do, not just to offer a public witness to our Faith, but also to make reparation for these many sins. In September, St. Mark is offering a two-week opportunity to do just this, centered on the Devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus. The following activities are planned for the weeks of Sept. 16–21 and 23–28:

  • Monday: Mass (8:00 am), Rosary (8:30 am), and prayers of reparation (after Rosary).
  • Tuesday: Prayers of reparation (5:45 pm), Rosary (6 pm), Mass (6:30 pm).
  • Wednesday: Mass (8:00 am), Rosary (8:30 am), and prayers of reparation (after Rosary). After the Rosary, we will embark on a 3-mile public walk (wear appropriate clothing and bring water and sunscreen).
  • Thursday: Prayers of reparation (10:45 am), Rosary at 11 am, Mass (noon).
  • Friday: Mass (8:00 am), Rosary (8:30 am), and prayers of reparation (after Rosary).
  • Saturday: Rosary (7:30 am), Mass (8:00 am), and prayers of reparation (after Mass). After prayer, we will again embark on a public walk (same as Wednesday).
  • Sunday: no activities.
