Vigil of Prayer for the Unborn January 22nd

January 22nd is the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion. The Church asks that this day be observed as a day of prayer for the violations to the dignity of the human person. St Mark will hold a vigil beginning after the 6:30pm Mass on Tuesday, January 22nd, and continue through the night, ending with the 8am Mass on Wednesday.

The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for Adoration throughout the Vigil. Whether you can come for 5 – 10 minutes, 30 minutes or an hour, all are encouraged to come and pray at any time, and for any length of time during the vigil.

There will be a Knight from the Knights of Columbus standing watch throughout the night.
