Cuisine for the Spirit

Our Mission

To build a strong faith community by creating friendships and to practice fraternal charity through shared meals among adult St Mark parishioners in a warm home setting.

How it Works

We meet once a month in small groups to share a meal in the home of the host. Each person/couple will host a group of up to six additional adults at their home twice a year or once each semester. The host will provide the entree while the other three Cuisine couples/members will bring either a salad, side and dessert, and a bottle of wine to share.

Please bring to each dinner: A desire to meet new people and make new friends, and an openness to try and enjoy different kinds of meals.

Meeting Details

Meeting Times:

  • Winter/Spring: Monthly February through May
  • Fall/Winter: Monthly August through November

Dates and time: The default date is the third Saturday of each month for ease of scheduling, though the hosting home has the option to change their date.

Dinner group members rotate each month.

This ministry is for adults only. This is a great opportunity for a scheduled date night with your spouse!

There is also a substitute list for those that would like to be included from time to time, but can’t commit to a full four months.
