Father Francisco J Quezada

Hardy Hill, Secretary
As Chair of the Finance Council, and as suggested by our Pastor, Fr. Quezada, I am submitting for your viewing a Financial Report for the first two quarters of the Fiscal Year. For almost four years, Father Quezada has placed emphasis on a Spirituality of Stewardship for all of us to consider. His homilies at Mass, his intentional administration review and reorganization in 2013-2014, a serious reconsideration of expenses and revenue were all part of his vision. The Finance Council has been supportive of this and agrees it is a more focused way of living out the Stewardship we are called to from the Lord.
The result? You will notice expenses are down as the staff is very conscious of good steward spending, and the revenue is noticeably on a climbing trend. We have new parishioners being welcomed monthly and Sterling Ranch is literally “coming up and around” as I write this!
Growth is exciting. The Our Sunday Visitor Offertory Enhancement Program has made a difference, as had the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University workshops that parishioners have attended.
As a fellow parishioner, I encourage you to prayerfully consider your part in how you are making a difference in our growth and love for St. Mark Parish.
Chair, Parish Finance Council
