“And in the morning, a great while before day, he rose and went out to a lonely place, and there he (Jesus) prayed.” – Mark 1:35

Jesus would often go off by himself to pray and be with God. Many people throughout Scripture would encounter God out in the wilderness. He uses times when we take a break from our everyday lives and distractions to communicate with us and reveal himself. Candidates are asked to disconnect from their regular lives in order to commune with God. Retreats will help youth encounter Christ in a new way and bond with others through activities, prayer, small groups and talks.

High School Fall Retreat

October 20-22nd

God has a history of making order out of chaos. In the beginning, He formed all of creation out of a dark void. In the Psalms, He makes wars cease and there is stillness and peace in Him. In the Gospels, Jesus calmed the wild seas when the disciples were caught and afraid for their lives in a storm. Jesus’ very mission on this earth was to bring the order of redemption out of the chaos of the fall. The goal of this retreat is to invite you out of your chaos into a relationship with God while encouraging you to allow God to continue His creative work in you and live a life grafted into Him.
