Your Gifts and Talents are Blessings to Be Shared!
All baptized Christians have been given “gifts of the Spirit.” Ephesians 4 says, “But grace was given to each of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift … He gave gifts to men … some as apostles, others as prophets, others as evangelists, others as pastors and teachers … for building up the body of Christ.”
Your Own Special Combination
Yes, each of us has been given a unique set of talents. Often, you find your gifts by being aware of what inherently interests or inspires you. Or by noticing the productive characteristics or habits that seem to come easily to you. These are gifts from the Father!
So Many Ways to Share Your Gifts
Stewardship is the thoughtful commitment to recognize and gratefully share these gifts, in turn, building up God’s Kingdom here on earth.
During the Oct. 21-22 Stewardship Fair, see what ignites your curiosity. Even if you don’t think of yourself as particularly creative or talented, your simple willingness to help can make a difference. We invite you to join us – and in doing so, serve the Lord, our parish and the local community. Deepen your faith and live the abundant life to which Christ has called you!
